Legends Golf Resort

Established in 1990 on 1,300 acres, Legends Golf Resort has become one of the Grand Strand’s premier golf destinations, featuring three distinctive championship courses.

Heathland delivers a classic links-inspired experience and was named a Top 10 New Course by GOLF Magazine. Moorland offers a bold and demanding challenge, earning Top 5 New Course honors from Golf Digest. Parkland, the resort’s newest course, features a traditional Carolina layout and is consistently recognized among the area’s top places to play.

In late 2026, Legends will add a lighted 9-hole par-3 course, designed by Ken Baker of Baker Golf Design. Inspired by Scottish golf, the new course will offer a unique links-style experience built around creativity, connection, and fun.

Legends also delivers an exceptional all-inclusive experience, with breakfast, lunch, and two beverages included with every round.

With three unique courses, outstanding amenities, and Southern hospitality, Legends offers everything you need for a memorable Myrtle Beach golf experience.

Brunswick Plantation Golf

Located just minutes from the North Carolina–South Carolina border, Brunswick Plantation Golf offers 27 holes of golf designed by Willard Byrd and Clyde Johnston, providing three distinct 9-hole layouts and three different 18-hole combinations.

Azalea challenges golfers with strategic tee shots and demands both accuracy and mental discipline. Dogwood provides a more open layout with tempting opportunities to cut corners, while rewarding smart decision-making. Magnolia features more open holes where wind can become a major factor and gives golfers plenty of opportunities to score.

With three unique nines, changing conditions, and challenges at every turn, Brunswick Plantation offers an enjoyable and memorable experience for golfers of all skill levels.

Whispering Pines

Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, Whispering Pines Golf Course is a unique part of the Grand Strand’s golf history. The 18-hole course sits on land that was once part of the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, which operated from 1941 until its closure in 1993.

Originally built by military personnel in 1962, the course has evolved through several expansions and renovations while maintaining its connection to the area’s military heritage. The City of Myrtle Beach acquired the property through the federal Lands-to-Parks program following the base closure.

Today, Whispering Pines offers golfers a challenging and enjoyable layout surrounded by the history and natural beauty of the former air base. Historical markers, squadron-emblem tee markers, and displays honoring former wing commanders provide a unique connection to Myrtle Beach’s military past.

Whispering Pines offers more than a round of golf—it’s a chance to play on a course with a story that is uniquely Myrtle Beach.
